Sinusoidal Silo - 2013
Site Specific Stereo Sound Installation --- A 13-minute looped audio track consisting of different and dissonant sine waves played in an empty grain silo in almost total darkness. Sine waves are very powerful and physical waves that can be felt in the body when amplified with enough power. The waves in the track were selected to affect both the bodies of the people in the silo as well as to affect and actually vibrate different parts of the silo structure itself creating a powerful sensory experience.
